A confidential space to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life
I am a fully qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) & the Foundation for Psychotherapy & Counselling (FPC).
As a dedicated psychotherapist with years of experience on a wide range of issues, I am committed to working empathetically with individuals, helping them to relieve suffering through a deeper self awareness and understanding, to create a life with greater emotional well-being, resilience, healthier relationships and a more secure sense of self.
I see individuals for once weekly 50 minute psychotherapy sessions, either in-person or online, where I provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental and confidential space, offering both short and longer term in-depth therapy.
Working collaboratively, we will use the sessions to gain a greater understanding of you and your experiences by working with curiosity through difficult emotions, unresolved conflicts, and patterns of behaviour or long-held beliefs that may be holding you back.
Sessions will be tailored to your individual needs by drawing on various therapeutic techniques, with a focus on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
My way of working has its foundations in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, an in-depth therapy which looks at how past experiences and unconscious processes may be influencing our present lives.
This dynamic and explorative way of working opens up the opportunity to make more informed, conscious and meaningful decisions.
The aim of the work is to relieve suffering, enhance understanding, and strengthen your emotional resilience and sense of self.
This in turn will give you a greater capacity to manage life’s difficulties, ultimately leading to a healthier functioning and more fulfilling life.
